Copyright Policy

Use of copyrighted material in printed or electronic media.

All printed and/or electronically distributed material created by working SEDA-COG staff, or created by others under contract to SEDA-COG as a work-for-hire, are copyrighted by the organization, including content, format, and associated graphics.

When appropriate, this information should be given the widest possible distribution. In that vein, once presented to the public in any form, all such materials may be reused without further specific permission provided that:

1. The reused material must be clearly identified as originally coming from SEDA-COG material,
2. All copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the SEDA-COG materials must be retained, including any copyright notices for sources cited within the SEDA-COG material,
3. A written or, where possible, an electronic link must be provided to the SEDA-COG KOZ website: www.kozcentral.com

Use of the SEDA-Council of Governments logo requires specific permission which may be requested by contacting the Director’s Office at admin@seda-cog.org, (570)524-4491, 201 Furnace Road , Lewisburg , PA 17837 .

This copyright policy will be aggressively enforced whenever violations are discovered in order to protect the reputation and integrity of SEDA-Council of Governments and associated data sources and materials.

Likewise SEDA COG staff members, in carrying out their work activities, are expected to recognize and stringently follow the copyright policies of other organizations concerning the re-use of original materials produced by others.
